Riteaid Coupon Policy

Thursday, February 26, 2009 0 comments

Go here to learn how to make this post more effective for you and to find other store policies. Remember, the red text is my notes and is not part of the original policy. It will not be in the copy you can download

At Rite Aid:

You can only use one manufacturer coupons per sale of an item (So, if you are buying 3 items, that is considered three sales.  You would be able to use three manufacturer's coupons).

You can use a manufacturer's coupon with a Rite Aid coupon at anytime as long as the two combine do not exceed the amount of the item you are purchasing (If you are buying an item that costs $1 and have a manufacturer's and and Riteaid coupon for the same item that total more than $1, the value of the coupon(s) will be adjusted down to $1).

Rite Aid accepts all internet coupons as long as the value of the coupon is below $5.00. (This includes Riteaid coupons as well as manufacturer's coupons)

You can use more than one coupon per transaction. (A transaction is different than a purchase.  A transaction = everything you buy on one receipt.  A purchase = the items you are required to buy to use a specific coupon.  So if you have to buy 2 body washes to use a $1 off coupon, a purchase would = 2 body washes.  However, you could do three purchases of two body washes in one transaction and would be allowed to use three coupons)

Whenever an item is on sale you can use a coupon on the item as long as the value of the coupon does not exceed the value of the item itself. For instance; if you have a coupon for a $1.00 off and the item is on sale for $0.99, the coupon cannot be used as it exceeds the value of the item being purchased. (They will typically just adjust the value of the coupon down to the sale price, so your $1 coupon would only be worth $0.99)

You can use BOGO coupons on BOGO sales the sales. The sales tax will automatically adjust. (This means you can get both items for free!)

I hope this explains in further detail the coupon policy for you.

Money Saving Tips

Monday, February 2, 2009 0 comments

My main purpose in keeping this blog is to make it easier for you to save money.  I know that shopping this way can be overwhelming at times.   My goal is to post 4-6 tips each week that will make things a bit less overwhelming.   I post tips from six different categories--no more than one tip a week for each category.  This means you will have an entire week to implement the tip before getting another tip from the same category.  You can read archives of old tips by clicking on the links below.  If you would like to be notified anytime we post a new tip, you can Subscribe to this feed

If you would like to submit a tip and be featured on Frugalicious, please fill out the form below.

**Note: please keep all entries positive and upbeat. Please do not simply leave a link to your website; you must leave an actual tip that fits with the idea of Frugalicious shopping: getting the things we love for less. If your entry does not meet these requirements, it will not be posted.**
