Weekly Ad Dates

• Wednesdays-Tuesdays. Occasionally (especially during the holidays) they will have another separate ad that runs through different days of the weeks

• Vons Membership Card is called a “VonsClub Card.” In order to get their advertised sale prices, you must use this card each time you shop. You can sign up for a VonsClub Card for free in the store. You can also download an application, but it will still have to be turned in at the store.
• Power Pump Rewards
  
  • You will earn $1.50 for every $100 you spend at Vons (including gift cards). You also earn $1.50 for every two prescriptions you fill at Vons. This money is given to you as an Arco gas gift card.
  • You must spend at least $600 before you can get a gift card. Once you have a gift card, $1.50 will automatically be added each time you spend an additional $100.
  • Your Power Pump Rewards balance prints on your receipt each time you shop.

• Personalized Coupons
  
  • The catalinas you receive will be personalized depending on what you have bought recently. For example, if you buy a lot of baby items, you will get baby coupons. If you buy a lot of frozen food, you will get frozen food coupons. Although these state “manufacturer’s coupon” on them, they can only be used at Vons.
    
• School Rewards/CommunityRewards
  
  • Through their eScrip program, Vons will automatically credit up to 4% of your qualifying purchases to the school or group of your choice every time you shop with your VonsClub Card.
  • You can choose to support up to three organizations at once.
  • To sign up, visit your local store. You will need your VonsClub Card number.
    
• United Mileage Plus
  
  • Every time you spend $250 on qualifying purchases with your VonsClub Card, you earn 125 Mileage Plus® Miles with United.
  • To enroll in this program, visit United's GroceryMiles registration page. You must be a United Mileage Plus member. You can sign up for United Mileage Plus on the same web site.
    
• Signature café
  
  • Scan your VonsClub Card when you buy Signature Café sandwich. Every 8^th sandwich is free.
    

• Vons offers several 4*-5* deals each week.
• Vons also offers many 1*-2* deals each week.

• Coupons Accepted:
  
  • Manufacturers Coupons with an expiration date and barcode.
  • Online Printable Coupons that have a face value of less than $5, the words “Manufacturers Coupon” printed on them and a barcode.

• Double Coupons: Vons doubles coupons according to the following policy:
  
  • The face value any coupon under $0.50 is doubled.
  • Any coupon which has a face value between $0.50 & $0.99 is worth $1.
  • Any coupon with a face value of $1 or over is worth just its face value.
  • If you are using multiples of the same coupon, only the first coupon per transaction is doubled. This is important if you are using coupons to stock up. You can do multiple transactions and have the first coupon in each transaction doubled.
    
• Uploads: These are coupons that you can upload to your VonsClub Card. If you buy a qualifying item, the coupon will automatically be applied. They can be combined with a paper manufacturer’s coupon.
  
  • You can upload P&G coupons to your rewards Card by registering here.
    
• Overage: If you have a coupon that is worth more than the sale price of the corresponding item, Vons will typically still credit the entire coupon amount to your bill. You won’t get cash back, but if you are buying other items, the overage will be applied to those items.

• The Vons weekly ad is typically much larger than the Ralphs ad, but smaller than the Albertsons ad. You will generally find a few unadvertised sales each week at Vons.

• Vons regularly offers Instant Rebate Deals and Coupon Rebate Deals. In addition, they occasionally offer other sorts of unique rebate deals. Some examples would be “buy 4 cereals, get free milk,” or “Buy 3 participating products, get free Charmin.”

• Vons will deliver for a fee of $6.95-12.95, depending on which delivery window you choose. You may not use coupons.
• Even if you don’t shop online, this can be a helpful way of looking up the regular shelf prices of items that may not be listed in their ad that week.

• Date: In the middle of the receipt, right after item list/coupons.
• Store Phone Number: Near the bottom of your receipt, before payment information.
• Power Pump Rewards Balance: Near the bottom of your receipt after savings information.
• Amount Spent: In the middle of the receipt, right before the date.
• Amount Saved: Near the bottom of your receipt. Titled “Total Savings Value.”
