- Fridays - Thursdays.
- Each month, Rite Aid runs an ad that is good all month. It is not a typical sales ad. It only includes Mail-In Rebate deals (see rebate section below for explanation). You can find this ad in the store. You can also view it online. It does not come in the mail or with the Sunday paper.
- Rite Aid does not offer a membership card. However, you can register to receive access to printable store and manufacturer’s coupons. Registered members also receive occasional store coupons in their email box. Many of these are $ off $$ coupons (get $5 off any purchase of $25 or more, etc).
- Rite Aid has at least 1-2 items each week (sometimes more) that are free after rebate. In addition, there will be 1-2 items that are free, or next to free after rebate and coupons. In fact, occasionally you can combine a rebate deal with a coupon and actually make money (see “overage” under “Coupons” below).
- In addition to their free deals, there will be a few additional 4*-5* deals each week.
- The rest of their sales are typically at a 1*-2* level.
- Coupons Accepted:
- Manufacturers Coupons with an expiration date and barcode
- Online Printable Coupons that have a face value of less than $5, the words “Manufacturers Coupon” printed on them and a barcode.
- Rite Aid Store Coupons. These can be for CVS or name Brand items.
- $ off $$ Coupons
- Double Coupons
- Rite Aid does not double coupons.

- Uploads
- Rite Aid does not currently offer any up-loadable coupons.

- Overage
- If you have a coupon that is worth more than the sale price of the corresponding item, Rite Aid will always credit the entire coupon amount to your bill. You won’t get cash back, but if you are buying other items, the overage will be applied to those items.
- In order for your overage to work correctly, you need to give them your coupons in the following order:
- $ off $$ coupons For example: “$5 off any purchase of $25 or more”
- Manufacturer’s coupons
- Rite Aid Store Coupons
- Most of Rite Aid’s sales are advertised in either their weekly (comes with many Sunday papers) or monthly (you have to pick it up at the store) ads. However, you will occasionally find unadvertised sales at Rite Aid.
- Rite Aid does all their rebates through their Single Check Rebate (SCR) Program. Although similar to mail-in rebate programs, it is much more convenient and easy to use. Coupon rebates and instant rebates are extremely rare. Below is an explanation of how the SCR program works.
- You must register to use the SCR program.
- There are sales with rebates attached to them. Each weekly and monthly ad will list certain items that have rebates attached to them. Rebates can be in three forms:
- You receive a rebate for buying one of any particular item (buy one razor @ $7.99, get $3 rebate).
- You receive a rebate for buying a group of items (buy three Huggies products, get $10 rebate).
- You receive a rebate for buying a dollar amount of qualifying items (buy $20 of Loreal Products, get $5 rebate).
- Keep Your Receipts! When you complete a qualifying purchase, make sure you keep your receipt. You will need to enter information from that receipt online after registering (see “Submit Your Receipts” section below for how to do this).
- Rebates have limits. You are typically allowed to utilize a rebate deal anywhere from 1-5 times. If the deal is in the weekly ad, the limit applies to that week. If the deal is in the monthly ad, the limit applies to the entire month.
- Rebate Deals can be combined with other coupons! You can combine a Rebate deal with a $ off $$ coupon, a manufacturer’s coupon, and a store coupon. For example:
- In the Ad: “Buy 250 ct Excedrin for $5.50, get $3 Rebate. Limit 2 Rebates.” Total Cost for two: $11.00.
- $ off $$ Coupon you have available: “Save $2 on any purchase of $10 or more.” New cost after $ off $$ coupon: $9.00.
- Manufacturer’s coupon you have available: “Buy any Excedrin, save $1.50.” New cost after two Manufacturer’s coupons: $6.00.
- CVS Store Coupon you have available: “Save $1 on any Excedrin.” New cost after two Store Coupons: $4.00.
- You will also receive two $3 Rebates after you enter them online!
- Submit Your Receipts.
- Enter the requested information for your receipt.
- Rite Aid will then verify the receipt and mark each qualifying rebate as "waiting for you to request check." You will get credit for ALL the rebates for which you've qualified, even if you didn't know a rebate existed!
- You can enter as many receipts as you want in a given month-long period. Once you're ready, click "request check." Your rebates will be totaled and you will be mailed a check within two weeks.
- You can only request one check for each month period. Make sure that you have put all of your qualifying receipts in the system before requesting your check.
- You typically have up to four weeks after the months end to enter all your receipts and request your check.
- Rite Aid will ship non-perishable orders. The fee is $5.99 for orders under $49 and free for orders over $49 (4-7 business days, you can pay more to get it sooner).
- Even if you don’t shop online, this can be a helpful way of looking up the regular shelf prices of items that may not be listed in their ad that week
